Cutting Information

Mohair, alpaca and viscose are provided in widths of 140cms.

To prevent wastage and maximise pattern placement, mohair, alpaca and viscose are cut as follows:

Full metre = 140cms wide, with a drop of 100cms

Half metre = 140cms wide, with a drop of 50cms

Quarter metre or 'fat' quarter = 70cms wide, with a drop of 50cms

Eighth metre = 35cms wide, with a drop of 50cms

There are no 'cutting' charges made, in other words, if the mohair costs £80 for a full metre - an eighth will cost £10

Price stated by each item description is for 1/8m (approx. 35cm across, with 50cm drop)

If you require a larger quantity, please select '2' for 1/4m etc. and your piece will arrive uncut.
